Privacy Location is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect minimal data:
- Location coordinates you manually enter are stored locally on your device only.
- Subscription status is managed through Google Play Billing or local subscription codes.
- Language preference is stored locally on your device.
We do not collect, transmit, or store your real GPS location, personal information, or usage analytics on any server.
2. How We Use Information
All data stays on your device. Specifically:
- Saved locations are stored in local SharedPreferences and never transmitted.
- Trial period tracking is device-local only.
- No third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs are included.
3. Permissions
The app requests the following Android permissions:
- Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): Required by Android to set mock locations. We do not read or store your actual location.
- Foreground Service: To keep location protection running when the app is in the background.
- System Alert Window (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): For the optional floating window overlay.
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): To show the foreground service notification on Android 13+.
4. Data Storage
All app data is stored locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences. No cloud storage or remote servers are involved. Uninstalling the app removes all stored data.
5. Third-Party Services
The app integrates Google Play Billing Library for subscription management. Google's privacy policy applies to payment processing. No other third-party services are used.
6. Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
